How many times have you had a promise made to you that was broken? Promises are meant to be kept and never broken. Just even the little ones are meant to be kept. How many times have you made a promise? Did you keep those promises? Or did you break them?
Sometimes it isn't your fault that a promise is broken, but most of the time a promise is broken by the person that made it due to circumstances beyond there control.
If you make a promise you should try to keep it, but if you can't you should at least warn the person you made the promise to there is a change you will not be able to keep it. This way they can't take out there heartbreak on you.
Do you remember someone making a promise to you and holds up three fingers and say "Boy Scott honor"? Did they keep there promise? Or was it quickly broken?
I try not to make promises anymore because I know in my heart it will be broken. Even to my children, I never promise them anything. I do however do tell them if its in my power I will try. This way I'm not making a promise, but letting them know if I can I will.
So if you are one that makes promises and can't keep them, STOP making promises, and use what I do, IF its in my power I will. This will keep you from breaking some ones heart.
MAY GOD BLESS!

EASTER
The blog for this week is a very simple
one. There is no news on this home front. Working on a new novel seems to be
making progress but it does seem to be a little slower than I normal
write. Why you ask? Because although I
love to write. There are outside influences which have been flooding my mind.
We
had four people which dropped in from Canada to spend a couple of days with us.
We love company, and my husband is from Canada and this helps him catch up on
all the news from his hometown. They weren’t here long, it was just a stopping
off place as two of them where going on a cruise. The other two were on there
way home from the Fort Myers where they were on vacation.
It’s
always nice to see them, and just as nice as to help my husband keep in the
loop of his hometown. I also had company from North Carolina when my daughter
and my two great grand children came to see me this week also.
Only
problem was my one great granddaughter was sick and I had to make her wear a
mask. With my getting ready to have radiation treatments I certainly don’t need
to become sick with a cold or even worse a touch of bronchitis or pneumonia. It
feels like my body hasn’t really recovered from my surgery.
They
were at Disney for the week so it really wasn’t an problem for them to drop by
for an hour or two and then go back to Disney. I hate the fact I couldn’t ask
them to stay overnight but under the circumstances they understood.
The
next five weeks are going to be extremely hard on me and with God’s strength I
know I’ll be just fine.
Well,
I guess that’s all for now. I’ll be blogging every week on my process and
hoping all well take care to protect themselves with annual check-ups and test.
MAY
GOD BLESS!
Easter
Easter Day! When children wake up and find Easter Baskets full of candy, different colored eggs and all the trimmings that go along with Easter. Easter egg hunts and finding them out in the yard before the neighbors dog finds them first. For adults we enjoy watching them scurry around and the excitement on their faces is worth a million.

Patience!
Patience!
Who the Hell has time for patience.
Nobody! Whether it’s on the road, in the GYM or at home. Everyone wants
everything now. When on the road, people butt in front of you, and then honk their
horn if you won’t let them in. I ask you, get one car length ahead, what does
that actually do for you?
In
the line at a BBQ everyone tries to get at least two to three people ahead.
What does that do for you, are you afraid they are going to run out of food
before you get yours?
At
the bank, same thing, you hear the people in the line taking a deep breath and
letting it out so all can hear they are displease at having to wait to get to
the teller. Not just once or twice but several times. Then when they get up to
the teller they take forever like the people behind them deserve to wait.
Now
lets move on to the grocery store. At the meat counter, frozen food section,
vegetables and produce, everyone is in a hurry and you are just in their way.
If they don’t bump into you with their shopping cart or accidently bump into
you with their 300 lb body, they will start talking to their self about how
rude you are for not moving out of the way.
So
how much patience do you have? Do you get annoyed at little things? Do you wait
patiently for people to move out of your way? Or are you one of those people
that leave your shopping cart in the middle of the isle and walk off to the end
of the isle to get what you want?
Blocking anyone else from going down the
isle in either directions.
Those
motorized carts are the best thing in the grocery store for people that have
conditions that prevent people from walking down the isle for their groceries.
But heaven help you if you are moving to slow and they want to get where you
are. I’ve been hit in the back run over and pushed out of the way just to get
one to two feet in front of me. Like I’m going to clean out all the groceries
in that isle before they can pack their cart.
Moving
on to road rage! When stopped at stoplights have you ever noticed how people
start honking at you to move forward before the light turns green. That just
kills me. I usually throw up my hands and point to the light. As I ask them,
where do you really want me to move too?
I’ve
always had a lot of patience’s throughout my life, and I’ve tried to teach my
children to be tolerable of older people for they are slower than twenty year
old's. Most of the time they practice restrain, but I have noticed they are
quicker to release the reign of terror on their children because they don’t
move fast enough.
I
have caught myself yelling at my husband for no reason other than I have nobody
else to yell at. I have nobody else to take my frustrations out on. He
understands and lets it go in one ear and out the other. Thank goodness, or he
would have left me a long time ago.
So,
all of you out there, patience is something we all have to practice. Take a
deep breath blow it out slowly and keep our blood pressures down to a normal range.
MAY
GOD BLESS!

"CANCER"
Cancer that six letter word that use to mean a DEATH sentence to those
that had it. Today it can mean the same thing, but if caught early enough it
can mean a new beginning.
Don’t
get me wrong, CANCER is still a heart stopping word to those being told they
have it. It’s what you do once you have been diagnosed.
Men
are strong on the outside and a bowl of jello on the inside. They put on a
tough exterior, and cry on the outside. Complaining the sun is in their eyes if
you should catch them leaking from the eyes.
Women
on the other side of the coin, are in some ways stronger than men.
They have strong backs to carry the load
and broad shoulders to carry it on. The difference is they let their emotions show
and if that’s by crying than they cry. We pull up our boot-straps and put a
smile on our face, and go from there.
Yes,
I’m one of those that was diagnosed with BREAST CANCER. Six weeks ago they did
a biopsy and it was cancer. Early stage class two. Thank goodness we caught it
in the early stages.
Back
in the eighties there was little chance of catching something like this until
it was in the later stages. So, with modern technologies early detection is a
wonderful thing.
Ten
days after positive results from the biopsy, I underwent a partial mastectomy
with the remove also of two lymph nodes. Having a wonderful husband, who stood
by my side and gave me support. He took the news worst than I did. And great
friends and family who will stand up with you and help the fight.
It’s
been ten days now, and feeling stronger than ever. Will I survive CANCER? Yes,
I will with a positive mind and a strong body there is no-way I will let this
thing get me down or give up.
The
key is to be strong, fight, and hold your head up high. Yes, I will survive and
nothing is going to stop me. So, if you have been diagnosed with any type of
cancer, don’t give up, there is always someone out there who will fight along
your side.
MAY GOD BLESS!
