Happy Holidays to all out there. Whether you are Christian or Jewish this is the season to reflect on this past year of all things we did and said. 2018 is coming to a close and we get to start all over again. To right a wrong we might have caused or harsh words we might have spoken without thinking.
Yes in 2019 we have a chance to begin again. Whether we make resolutions on New Years Eve or not. We still get the chance to start a new year and follow the path we set out for ourselves. If we only do one thing on our list, we have at least paid it forward.
With a smile, a kind word, helping hand, that's all it takes to change a persons day.
Well, to everyone out there I want to say thank you for following me, and for your purchase of my novels. I pray 2019 will be a great year for you and me.
God Bless!

Holiday's
Well, here we are the end of another year. It seems the year flew so fast. Now 2019 is knocking at our door. When we were young it took forever for the year to go by and the presents under the tree took at Christmas was only a way for the time to go by in slow motion. Now as adults it goes so fast and all the Hussle and bustle seems to come over night.
Those of us that have to watch our weight look at all the food, candy, cookies and other goodies at the parties we attend and we somehow use our logic to tell ourselves, "Oh well, we can work it off. Its' only a couple of pounds!"
That's what the holidays are. A celebration of friends, family, and the children. It say goodbye to the end of another year, and welcome in the new. Those that are religious celebrate the birth of our Jesus, and those that are of other faiths have their own personal celebration.
No matter what you believe, I think most of us are happy to see another year under our belt and welcome the new year to make changes in our lives. To look forward to making some type of change that we didn't get to make in the year and look forward to working on letting the past go, to take one day at a time, and to reflect on what we have.
For my readers I trust you have a Happy Holiday and remember to take time for yourself.
Happy Holidays to everyone and
May God Bless!

Thanksgiving
Hello out there.
I know I usually write something for the holidays but, lately it has been difficult to get around to writing my blog.
Now here we are at another holiday. Thanksgiving, what does it mean to you? Having family and friends over for a large meal with all the trimmings? The football games? Family that you haven't seen since last year?
Isn't it funny how time slips away so fast, we really have no idea where the time passed so quickly.
In the past I know family of mine use to go around the table telling what they were thankful for. This was a great tradition to get into.
My family are all out of town now and not close. So I reach out to friends to lay out a spread and show my appreciation for the holiday and knowing that friends can be counted on in a crunch if needed.
So all of my friends out there, while you're sitting down to a great feast, go around the table and tell each other what you are thankful for. You may be pleasantly surprised by some of the answers. Don't forget to included your children in this also.
Well this blog is sort of short, but I wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving, and May God Bless.

Sleuth Fest What a Blast!
Boy what an exciting time the past days has been. It was our annual
Sleuth Fest with Book agents, Book publishers and experts from all over the
United States, were in attendance. Mystery writers have some of the in
attendance.
I had the privilege
to work the registration desk and got to meet everyone first. With several one
hour and half seminars on all types of subjects it was one of the best we’ve
had. Learning from some of the best authors, and publishers, all the tricks of
the trade. It’s very had as a new author to get answers to questions you would
normally never get the change to ask.
Even though
sometimes the questions we ask seem simple, or really stupid, they make you
feel they are just as important as a complex question. That’s what learning is
all about. Being able to ask those stupid questions and get a real answers. Ones
we can put to actual use by simple means.
For those of us that are not tech savvy they make is
simple for us to use.
It’s also nice to
meet people and be able to talk to them on a one to one basis. They don’t make
you feel like you are interrupting them or that you are a nobody, so don’t
bother me attitude.
Andrew Gross was
our key note speaker and what story he had to tell. He just had open heart
surgery a month ago, but still came to speak to us. He is just like all of us,
down to earth, good old boy!
Being able to
attend and being able to part of such a great program, it truly was a great
conference.
Well I don’t know
if I’ll put all the things I was taught to use in my novels and for my novels
but I do know I’m going to try. It couldn’t hurt as they say.
Well I’ve bent your ear long enough so I’ll close.
May
God Bless!
