Sunday

Sunday

Someone asked my why I write my BLOG on Sunday. I really didn’t have an answer. I found Sunday to be the most logical day for me to be free of the work-week and the day I can concentrate on writing my blog. It is the day, I can think of what I want to write. Come up with something I hope that everyone can read what I write.

Yes, I seem to be rambling on. That’s what blogs are for. Not necessarily to ramble on, but write interesting things. If you don’t have anything interesting to say, oh well.

The month of March has gone by so fast I can’t remember the start of it. I do know I hate the time change. But every year I hate the time change. I wish they would just leave it one way or the other. It is always so hard to get use to.

It is nice the sun stays up longer, and when you get home from work you still have time to work in the yard or just sit out and enjoy the outdoors. The days become longer and the heat rises. The children like the days longer for it gives them more time to paly before bath-time and going to bed.

I have ten great grand children and they all feel the same. It’s great to see them out playing all the childhood games that I use to play when I was a young girl. Although my children and my grandchildren plus my great grandchildren think I was never a young girl.

Playing hide and seek, red rover, rover send blank over. Jump-rope and hop scotch and don’t forget jacks where all games we played. Now the kids today have cell phones and Ipads, throw a couple of computers. This is how the kids of today spend there time. I guess everything changes with time.

Have you ever thought about what times would be like twenty years from now? When they have children? What will the children play then?

With the country in lock down and everyone becoming locked up in their homes, things like cards and board games should bring back memories of the past and younger years.

MAY GOD BLESS!
