Have you ever felt like you were dragging your tail? It seems everyone has advice for you how to keep up and still post a killer of a blog, work forty eight hours a week and write one to two chapters in your new novel without fail.
The days are not long enough and the demands from your boss, children, and don't forget about the husband and the pets. When do you find time for yourself? Sure being a juggler with four hands and three brains can say "NO PROBLEM MAN" but to be realistic, somewhere in the chain, the link becomes weak and yes it will break if pulled in two different directions.
It comes down to the fact you finally break and have to say, Hey I've had enough for today and just put your feet up and doze off for an hour or two.
To many times we push ourselves over the edge. Climbing back up becomes harder and harder. I guess that's why people take vacations. Which I had to look up in the dictionary to see what the meaning was. It had been a long time since I had a real vacation and it will probably a long time before I get another one. Just to relax and do nothing, go no where, what a concept.
For all you out there that read my blog, don't be a work-o-halic, like they say "Stop and smell the roses" that is if you can find some.
It doesn't matter how hard you try to keep up, you set the bar and if you set it to high, take a hold of it and move it down a little bit. You are in-charge and you are allowed to keep up with your self. You make your own schedule so put in that schedule an hour break during working hours, and take fifteen minutes in the morning and the afternoon just to clear your head. You'll thank yourself for it later. Once you have set a pattern up you see you can get much more down during the day and not take things to bed to worry about while your tossing and turning about what you didn't get done today.
This is all good advice, now if I'll only do it!
To all a goodnight and may God Bless.
